We’re kicking off 2025 with exciting news – our team is growing! We’re thrilled to welcome three talented new members to Athena Fitout as we continue to expand.
Brian Waymire joins us with over 20 years of experience in property, including a decade in London’s commercial office fit-out sector. With an agency background, he has deep insight into the commercial property market. Since 2010, Brian has led projects ranging in value from £50k to over £9m, ensuring outstanding service and attention to detail throughout each project.
Samuel James, originally from New Zealand, has been in the UK since 2018, building a career in the design and build industry. With a trade background, Sam brings extensive expertise in both residential and commercial fit-outs. He’s passionate about delivering high-quality projects from start to finish, contributing at every stage – from design to on-site processes and final delivery. As a member of CIOB, Sam is committed to structured workflows, safe practices, and exceptional results.
Peter Symons, our new Senior Commercial Manager, brings a wealth of experience to the team. Peter began his career in retail schemes, constructing supermarkets, before transitioning to fit-out projects, specialising in Cat A and Cat B schemes. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Surveying from London South Bank University (2010) and is experienced in Design & Build (D&B) contracts as well as Construction Management forms. With a track record of successfully managing projects up to £15 million in D&B and £47 million in Construction Management, Peter is passionate about delivering schemes on time and within budget. Outside of work, Peter enjoys watching rugby and football and is a keen swimmer.
