Athena was appointed to deliver a Cat B fit-out for Carbon Underwriting following the acquisition of additional office space within the iconic, Grade II Listed Devonshire Square development.

The 5,000 sq ft fit-out was carefully designed to respect the character of the existing building while introducing modern functionality to support the client’s growing team. The scope included the creation of new meeting rooms, a Tea Point, and the installation of furniture, all seamlessly integrated within the heritage shell.

A key focus of the project was balancing contemporary workplace requirements with the building’s architectural features, including exposed brickwork, generous ceiling heights and natural light. Athena worked closely with the client and design team to ensure new interventions complemented the existing fabric rather than competing with it.

Through thoughtful coordination and attention to detail, the project delivered a refined, professional workspace that reflects Carbon Underwriting’s identity while enhancing the character and usability of this historic setting.
